Bosco Sonoro immersive installation
Florence September 26
Giardini Corsini Florence
During Artigianato e Palazzo at the Giardini Corsini in Florence, I presented Bosco Sonoro (The Sound Forest), an immersive installation featuring more than 30 mushrooms of different shapes and sizes.
Visitors were invited to walk through the forest wearing silent-disco headphones, listening to a soundscape I created from recordings made directly from real mushrooms growing on my sculptures.
The installation transformed the garden into a space where nature could not only be seen, but also heard. Through this sensory experience, visitors were invited to slow down, reconnect with the natural world, and rediscover a deeper connection with their own nature.
The exhibition was warmly received, with many visitors describing the experience as unexpected, intimate and deeply engaging.
